actually, if you own a domain name (such as www.example.com) you can get unlimited email addresses through gmail. you don't even have to set up seperate accounts for them, it just sends all emails sent to addresses ending in your domain to your inbox unless that address is specifically designated as a seperate account. for example, you could sign up using the email address 1@example.com, then again with 2@example.com, then 3@example.com and they would all go to the same inbox. it doesn't matter what you put before "@example.com" as long as that email address isn't already taken.
