Regulated hunting is good. |

This is a tricky one i think hunting for sport can be wrong, if done in a way that prolongs the
animals terror and is a long painful death, which is completely unnecessary.
But hunting with a gun or fishing is OK, as long as you only take what you can eat.
And kill the animal in a way that it will die instantly or failing that as can happen, putting it
quickly out of its misery.
My husband hunts and fishes he only takes what we or our dogs can eat and stops, he does not keep
fishing and throwing back.
Even if he gets small fish two small for us to eat it comes home for the cats.
The other time i feel it is OK to hunt is when there is overpopulation as this can be deadly for
animals at any rate as there is not enough food meaning they starve to death which of course is a
slow and painful death.
Much better for them to be shot, and thus not suffer.
So i think in some cases hunting is a good thing but it needs to be done in a good way, where the
animal suffers as little as possible.
As for the vegetarian argument i never really understood it, as you say you don't want to hurt and
kill another living thing when plants are living too all your fruit and veg is living at some point
, just because it cant scream in pain or run doesn't mean it doesn't feel, how can you possibly know
that it doesn't. Just a thought that's all. |

Hunting or not, animals will die, Of old age, eaten by predators, hit by cars, etc...
Regulated hunting is just another sport.
What I don't understand is all those fishermen who throw back their catches in the water; if you
don't fish for food, don't bother ! 90% of all fish released in the water will die within 24 hours
anyway... |

Bottom line, if you eat meat, an animal has to die. The human body was designed to eat meat.
There's nothing wrong with taking it your self. It's actually more healthy, as the meat is leaner
and it's great exercise.
If there is something wrong with it then we would have to stop all animals from killing their food
such as tigers, lions, coyotes, etc. |

Hunting is better than factory farming. But only factory farming is better than both. Since I
don't see an end to factory farming anytime soon, hunting has to stop.
But if we could stop factory farming, I would have nothing wrong with hunting. It's the natural way
of catching food. |

I definitely disagree. Hunting animals is completely wrong I know this is cliche but How would you
like if it were you being hunted. But that's the only way we can break it down for you simple minded
people. |

Hunting for fun and sport is bad. People do not have the right to go out killing innocent animals
for fun and game. Hunting on the other hand for food is okay because humans need to eat. Animals
were put here for food. So, I am partially for hunting, and partially against it. It is terrible
when someone goes out hunting, then hangs their catch on the wall. To me, displaying dead animals is
not fascinating. However, if you are hunting to eat, then I feel that is acceptable. There are too
many immature and irresponsible people out there who are hunting for fun and sport and these are the
ones who give hunting a bad name. |
