I like Huck but Alan Keyes is the best candidate. |

I don't know. It's really one of those matter of opinion statements isn't it? |

In my opinion all republicans are tarts. If I had to choose though it would be Macain |

Look at the polls, look at the total delegate count. Republicans have already decided this not to be
the case.
Being a republican has nothing to do with your personal stance on gay marriage and abortion. It is
whether or not the Federal government should be regulating these two subjects, and last time I
checked the republican party is for personal freedom and less government so I would say the exact
opposite is true. |

I am republican, and a pretty conservative one at that, but I really don't like Huckabee, he is way
too religious for me. One thing I would hate to have is a president who brings religion into every
matter. My vote goes to McCain |

The gay community that is alowwed to vote is 47% of votes in the U.S. So by him opposing same sex
marriage he is just digging a hole for him. And first place he is like not that far into the race so
therefor he basically does not have a chance! |

He lacks the experience in money matters, for example Romney has been a successful ceo and manger
for many years, if you want to talk money then he’s your man |

Saying Huckabee is the best republican is like saying Himmler was the best Nazi. Even if it's true,
who cares? He was a Nazi.
There is not one decent human being left in the Repugnican party. There used to be, if you go as far
back as the 70s, say. There were still Eisenhower types around. After all, they at least had the
decency to impeach Nixon. They wouldn't do that now. The crimes of the Bush administration are far
greater than those of Nixon. It was really the Bushies who corrupted the Republican party. Read some
of Kevin Phillips' books if you want to see how an old-school republican gradually became
disenchanted with his own party after the Bushies took it over.
You can't get anywhere in the Repugnican party now unless you are or pretend to be some kind of
fanatic freak : In favour of torture ("Let's have 2 Guantanamos, yeeha!"), against basic science
like evolution and global warming, against the separation of Church and State, in favour of mad
demagoguery about foreign threats. It's a pitiful spectacle. |

If the Republican Party knows what's best for itself, it won't nominate Mike Huckabee. Huckabee
seems like a pleasant enough person, he can be very affable, has good debating skills and may appeal
to some, because he appears to be an ordinary, average American. Huckabee's problem, however, is
that he cannot grow his base beyond evangelical Christian voters. Fiscal conservatives, for example,
would never vote for him, nor would independents and those with a more libertarian streak. Huckabee
also has the Republican establishment against him, as many high-profile party leaders have supported
Romney.
John McCain is probably the Republican Party's only hope of standing a chance against the Democrats
this November. McCain appeals to many independents who admire the fact that he is a war hero and
find his slightly more liberal views on a range of issues, such as abortion and immigration,
refreshing. |

Huckabee is a theocrat and a fraud. Anyone who attends a staged "pheasant hunt" to show he is no
stranger to guns and the gun lobby, showed his true colors. We don't need a president who caters to
special interest to get votes or support! Just look at George Bush at his election bid, "What you
see is what you get". Well, neither statement turned out to be true. |

Exactly why would any of those make me want to vote for a theocrat like Huckabee? The simple fact
is, he's in the pocket of the religious right and we don't need any more idiocy in the White House,
we've had 8 years of it so far. |
