Hillary Is Now Basking In Bigotry
With her boast in a newspaper interview that she has the support of "working, hard-working Americans, white Americans" Hillary overtly basks in bigotry and takes pride in the prejudice of her supporters. Moreover, she implies that Americans who are not white are not hard-working, playing into traditional racial stereotypes that members of minority groups are lazy and like to sit at home, waiting for the welfare cheque to arrive.

I really don't get the racial element of any of this. Hillary's appeal has constantly been with the middle working class; whereas Obama has had greater appeal with blacks and affluent democrats.
Hillary has been providing solutions to the problems facing the middle class, who at this moment are being squeezed at every turn. Obama may have solutions, but he really hasn't been speaking to them, but has constantly offered hope filled rhetoric about a bright new future. Meanwhile the Howard Deans of the party are constantly insinuating racism. This is the price the democrat party is going to pay when they participate in identity politics.

 So the guy who tries to appeal to Americans in general is racist, but the woman who glories in having the support of one specific ethnic group is not? There is a difference between garnering support from one specific ethnic group in a country and overtly encouraging and bragging about it, particularly when that ethnic group is the dominant one, has a record of racial abuse and intolerance, and therefore owes a special sensitivity to minority groups.
