It is very, very close, but I think the public is going for Obama now, and that's all there is to
it. She had only a slight chance in the beginning anyway. I just don't think this country is ready
for a woman president yet. If there wasn't another strong candidate running this year, I wouldn't
think they would be ready for a black president either. |

Definitely. She didn't ever have a chance in the first place. Just calling him President Obama now.
McCain doesn't stand a chance either. |

I agree. Hillary has been done for a while now. I'm from Michigan and nobody that I know is going to
vote for her. She gets slaughtered at every debate by Obama. He is a way better speaker and he will
be our next president. |

I agree hilary coming back would alienate lots of in between voters who may vote republican and that
would be terrible... She wouldn't be a terrible president but i think even if she were in office she
would be constantly scrutinized and minimally effective... Not fair, but seemingly realistic...
Greater good... Quite frankly it would also be such an endorsement to barack, and a sort of graceful
submission |

Get rid of her, it'll make American politics safer anyhow, I don't want her anywhere near the White
House ever again. |

Clinton should withdraw promptly because the longer she stays in the race, the greater the
Republicans' chances of winning in November. There is such a gulf between Huckabee and McCain that,
for them, this is simply not true. The only way Hillary can win now is by turning it super-ugly.
It's perfectly clear that she is willing to do that. She is willing to jeopardise her own party's
prospects of winning, and let the Republicans in again, in pursuit of her own mad ambitions.
By staying in, she is forcing Obama to waste money on adverts campaigning against her. That money
could be better used against McCain. Any politician responsible enough to be president should
realise that inspiring total revulsion in her own party is too high a price to pay for getting the
top job. She appears to be willing to destroy the Democratic party just to get what she wants. |

I am THRILLED that Hillary respected her commitments and believed in herself, her constituents and
her country not to give up. I never took her to be a quitter. I was right.
If Hillary had quit, she would have been lampooned to the death for not being "man enough" to stay
the course.
She should have been President. I am beginning to feel very shaky with Obama. I think we made a
horrible mistake. |

You're wrong she has a good chance of winning , you have bought into the media and not given her a
fair chance , I believe she will win. |

Not over yet |

She should only throw in the towel if all the other candidates do the same. It's not over. |

NOT YET. OHIO AND TEXAS VOTERS MAY JUST LOOK CLOSELY AT ALL THE TIMES THAT OBAMA BASICALLY SAID
"DITTO" TO HILLARY'S SPECIFIC PLANS.
Even if she does not win the nomination delegates needed, she must stay in the race until the final
vote at the convention. SUPER DELEGATES DO NOT HAVE TO VOTE WITH THE POPULAR VOTES IN THEIR STATES.
NOT ALL OF THEM ARE UP FOR RE-ELECTION AND INDEED, ARE NOT EVEN IN OFFICE NOW, SO THEY HAVE THE
FREEDOM TO VOTE FOR THE CANDIDATE THAT THEY TRULY KNOW HAS DEFINITE PLANS AND EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE
AND PERSONALITY TO GET THINGS DONE WITHOUT DELAY. I'M COUNTING ON THEM TO DO WHAT IS BEST FOR
AMERICA AND TO VOTE FOR SENATOR HILLARY CLINTON.
THANKS, MACKENZIE, FOR YOUR GREAT ANSWER HERE. AMERICA NEEDS HILLARY AND YES, AS YOU SAID, SHE IS
DOING U.S. DEMOCRACY A FAVOUR.
CNN and other television networks and news editors have shown so much bias all of this election
season. It is clear to me that they decided a year ago to get Obama elected and their coverage,
especially CNN. For me, CNN is no longer "the most trusted name in news" because they have been
totally against Senator Clinton from the time Senator Obama announced his candidacy. |

If Mike Huckabee has yet to drop out of the Republican race--where he has absolutely no chance of
winning--then why should Hillary clear the way for an Obama coronation? Clinton should fight on
until after Texas and Ohio have both voted. If she wins in these two states--even by a small
margin--then she and her husband should engage in some good old arm twisting, in order to secure the
support of a majority of super-delegates.
Hillary is doing US democracy a favour by staying in the race, even if she is now fighting an uphill
battle with the odds stacked against her. Since the media is not willing to burst the Obama bubble,
Hillary should keep stabbing away at it. She is a skilled debater and did much better on this front
earlier this week when she confronted Obama in the CNN debate. I imagine that the Clintons may still
have a few tricks up their sleeves, so let's be patient and see how this thing plays out over the
course of the next few weeks. |
