You would still need some kind of moderation to prevent one from just speaking over the other, but I
take your point and agree with it. It would be much more interesting to see politicians engage one
another directly rather than the safe, structured format we tend to see in which the questions come
from outside. They should be allowed to ask each other questions, for example. This would allow each
to focus on the issues they deem important, and their choice in this could form part of how they are
appraised.
I disagree about how well Obama would handle it. In my opinion, he's a natural, whereas Clinton is
essentially a phoney. |

opportunity to see them go at it unstructured. |
