Bob The Builder Is A Good Show For Kids Older Than 13
I don't think so because you can flip another channel on to learn stuff

Yes! Not only does Bob the Builder teach children to be optimistic, but it teaches responsibility and many other good traits. Eg. (for example) in the theme song, and in most all episodes/movies repeats the phrase, "Yes we can!" Also, in the movie "Built To Be Wild", children learn responsibility, and the power of friendship, when Muck accidentally destroys Rio Ranch, an old ghost town owned by Rio. When Rio, Bob, Wendy and "the gang" find out, Rio is upset. Until Bob suggests that they rebuild the abandoned town.
I guess a 13 year old or older may not benefit so much from Bob, but there is always something more to learn, and the more you watch, the deeper your understanding reaches.

I think it is a great idea and that many older kids should watch learning shows out of chool. They should also like Flash said make learning shows for bigger kids pther than babies and pre schoolers or little kids

I also think it would be good for people over 13. It shows good work ethics, people getting along at the workplace, and workplace responsibility. Maybe they should make a show similar to Bob the Builder for children and young adults over the age of 13. I agree that there should something similar because Builder Bob is full to mini lessons that are very essential to all aspects of life. What a great idea. I have a young son who loves to watch Builder Bob. I see him playing around the house with his tool toys. He is already learning about the values and benefits of hard work and I credit Bob the Builder for this. Thanks Bob!

I agree with what you're saying they should make more learning shows for grown up kids. Its a good way for them to learn outside the school or learning place.

I find it really.......... Almost perverse... But really weird... That 13 is the age that you put as the bar for promoting watching what is a toddler's show... I mean no one wants kid's feeling rushed to age... No teenager should be watching a show teaching the building blocks of aging short of sentimentality or reaching back to a simpler time... But to be educated by? To learn from? For entertainment??
Um go outside, man... Go build something

Discovery channel, Bob the builder, how it's made, or Bob the Builder, Mythbusters, or Bob the Builder. I know what I would choose.

Well, I'm in my mid-teens, and I do not watch Bob the Builder. I have a little brother who does, but he is only five. For kids thirteen years of age and older, Bob the Builder is nothing but a silly children's program. It does teach morals and things that are good for development, but once a person reaches a certain age, certain things become outmoded and ineffective. Bob the Builder is one of them. (For those of you that have kids or siblings that watch the Disney Channel, you will know that Lazy Town is a different story. Even I enjoy Lazy Town). Frankly, my peers and I would much rather watch the Discovery Channel, History Channel, or even Animal Planet.

However, if you can get a 13+ year-old to sit down and watch Bob the Builder and say afterwards: "Hey, I really enjoyed and learned from that," I will agree with you. Until then, it is pretty much impossible.

It's Bob the Builder, and you're not doing a good job on setting up a debate. Educational shows are already offered for older ages- just flip to the National Geographic, Discovery, or History channel. Bob the Builder already has a destined age group appeal.
