All the evidence certainly points that way. |

Heaven and Hell are ideas, brought up by religious minds, there existense lies completely and
singularily within the minds of those who believe that religious philosophy. It is only to them that
these places are real, their existense is created by their creation within the minds of others.
Heaven and Hell are simply placebos. Something that works, or is real, only because the mind
believes it to be real. |

There's no reason whatsoever to think that heaven or hell exist, any more than there is to think
that God exists. It's all delusion. |

No I don't think either exist either. I believe they only could possibly exist in those who want to
believe in them or those who want some sort of justice for those who commit crimes or want some sort
of reward for work they do here on earth. I also agree with Grenache, that neither of these two
concepts are remotely appealing. |

Actually I don't believe in the classical mythology of heaven or hell either. The idea that we
either go walk among the clouds and saints for an eternity of happiness OR we go to a pit of torture
where we're treated worse than butchered animals for an eternity is neither attractive nor
compelling philosophies. I just prefer to think of heaven or hell as what we can achieve here on
this planet with our own lives if we strive collectively to be either good or bad. |

Heaven is the world and hell is what we make of it |

Your reasoning is flawed. Just because you don't believe in hell does not mean it does not exist.
That's equal to me saying "Policemen do not exist....therefore I am not subject to their authority."
That is quickly disproved as soon as I rob a bank and am taken against my will to prison.
The same goes for God, Heaven, morality, judgement, etc... They can exist apart from your belief.
And if God does exist then it is logical that you would be subject to him regardless of whether or
not you believe.
Therefore, if God exists, and he requires you to "repent or burn in hell" then it is logical to
believe that unless you repent, you will burn in hell. |
