Best to eat what you feel tastes good. Lots of people who have been vegetarians, find that they like
meet. It might be the body telling the subconscious what is required. |

I agree. Meat is a natural constituent of the human diet and is a source of many important minerals,
acids etc. That we need to maintain a healthy diet. Losing meat completely isn't going to carry any
health benefits with it. Having said that, i strongly believe that we eat far to much meat which
does have a negative impact on health. Meat with every meal is unhealthy, especially red meats.
Total vegetarians live no longer than, nor are they healthier than those who have a balanced diet
which includes the 'natural' amount of meat that would usually have been eaten in our more primitive
past. The only complete argument against meat is an ethical one.
EDIT:
- found this, quite interesting to read, makes a good point about how vegetarians generally have a
healthier approach to life (excersise for instance) which could be a factor in the results of
certain studies. |

We're omnivorous creatures and it's a big big world. The populace will never completely stop eating
meat. It would be pure fantasy to say we'll all be Vegan some day.
HOWEVER, I am impressed by the love, compassion, and determination of those trying to follow the
Vegan path. I'm not sure how you succeed in doing it. I'm fine with you, I just don't want you
getting in my face while I eat my own lunch. |
