Hamlet Is A Greater Tragic Figure Than Macbeth

Yes, and Hamlet is also the only Shakespearean work that is palatable at all. Many famous quotes come from Hamlet such as to thine own self be true.

 No, I am not, I dispise Shakespear, I hate how we are forced to read his work through school, its merely one poet, why must we concentrate on only him ?

 But he is also a culprit of greed and selfishness. McBeth's tragic flaw is looked down upon, where as Hamlet's is innocent.

 I know.. Me too, I had to write an essay regarding the two plays, but i never read them. Unfortunately no one wrote a good response so far, because my essay was due today and i have already submitted it, so this debate is pretty much useless now.
