| Grade Scales Should Be The Same At Both Public And Private Schools |
| I need to now i think it is not fair |

All public schools should have standardized grading, but private schools are for those who are
seeking a better education than that of the standard. Private schools have different curriculums
than that of public schools, thus changing how work in either school should be graded. |

The point of a private school is that some people don’t like the way public schools do it for one
reason or another and can afford to pay someone to do it differently. If you force them to be the
same what would be the point in even having private schools? |

I do not think that private schools should have the same grade scales as public schools. Students
who go to private schools have higher expectations than students who go to public schools. Above
all, most private schools are paid schools and should have higher standards so that the money paid
for the education is well spent. Many kids who go to public schools do not care about their
education and if you raise their grade scale, then you are setting them up for further failure. I am
a teacher and I have taught in both types of schools. I do not think that private schools should
model public schools. That would defeat the purpose of private schools. Therefore, I do not believe
that private schools and public schools should have the same grading scales. |

Ahem...Public and private schools are virtually, if not exactly, the same thing... |

As much as i'd love to see optimal grading scales universally... Equivelancy isn't really
important... What's important is a base standard... Standardized testing is a false standard and a
shoddy system... Education needs to become endorsed by girls gone wild and playboy, clear enough of
a drift? |

Well if you choose to go to a private school than you choose to be challenged and with a higher
grading system. It makes you work harder to achieve your goals,if you don't do so well than that just
shows that you need to work harder next time .But with all respect if you want to get challenged and
ready for high school or collage or whatever than it is eaiser for you to start off hard and
gradually get eaiser than the other way around so what i am saying is that private schools have
higher standards so the students at that school get better grades. |

No it should not be the same, the private schools from my understanding, base there system on how
much parents interact with
there children's learning process. Since the public school community interact less, the
scoring process is less involved, simplified.
Therefore parents don't have to sit in at every
discussion-they can continue to work their
blue collar butts off and read less at night. |

I don't think private schools need to change their grade scales. Kids have problem anyway with
grades so we need to higher expectations. |

No you wouldn't have to try as hard and also most private schools have same grading scale as public
school. |
