| Government Interference Should Be Stopped |
| I believe that if the Founding Fathers were here today, they would be disgusted with what they see from our government. Thomas Jefferson said, "That government which governs least, governs best." The government that we see now has taken an opposite approach. I truly believe that one day very soon, we will no longer be the democratic society that we think we are today. I believe that our government is leaning more towards a communist way of life. This will only speed up if we vote Hillary or Obama into office. |

We lost the country a long time ago; however, we know where to find it. Look no further than our
Constitution and Bill of Rights and you will find the real America.
The America we have now has way too many agendas on the table. They promise smaller government, but
never go through with it. Why? Because if they did that then the power would return to the people
and they darn sure don't want that. They do not want to be held accountable to the people.
And foolish Americans have time and time again given away their freedoms and rights in exchange for
more handouts and government programs. When will the chaos end? Only when we fight those in power
and FORCE a restoration in our Country based purely on Constitutional ideals.
The more we depend on the government, the more power they have over our lives. Don't you see it?
If not, then take off the blinders and wake up! It is time to restore the Republic! |

Democracy was kidnapped a hell of a long time ago. Peoples freedoms are now used as a means of
control. Political correctness, Health and Safety. It is a form of brainwashing. |

Power corrupts absolute power corrupts absolutely these people have to been seen working to appear
valuable if they don't govern and interfere the electorate will complain that they are not doing
anything, its swings and roundabouts. |

It is a uniquely American mindset, or at least it would seem that way, so don't expect some of our
European friends to agree with you. However i wholeheartedly do. It is a slippery slope that we
walk, and i do see it all the time. Look at some of the posts that are on this site. How quickly
some people are to give up their liberties.
I have to tell you that our current president has been disappointing in this. He has not done much
to keep the size of government small, but has increased it. I don't like government in my life at
all, and am mostly libertarian about issues. |

While I don't think the forefathers could have dreamed about the present, as the gov't NEEDS to be
different to stay with the times. I do believe we have far to much gov't for our current situation. |

I have to disagree both Hillary and obama have spoken against bush and his activities with listening
to phone calls of American citizens. |

Same as yesterday same as today with Governments overstepping the bounds.
They didn't wait for the Native Americas to move off of their reservations, they back people that
took. Slavery : The English didn't force the Americans to take slaves, sell and trade. They
interfere when they want to, and ignore a nation when needed. Another thing
why do people fear a woman or Non white as president, Obama is not going to enslave whit people, or
move more nonwhites to their neighbor hood, Although their will be a giant cook out on the white
house lawn, b-y-o-b. |

What about the opinion of Abraham Lincoln, another revered President? During the Civil War he
declared martial law in many cities and removed the writ of habeus corpus, in short he was the
closest any American President has ever come to being a tyrant. He obviously believed in a great
deal of government intervention. The need for government intervention has to be looked at in the
light of the times we live in, therefore you can't really set the rules of government interference
in stone, or we may never have come out of the Great Depression. |
