I believe God is real, what i am not willing to believe is that the bible is true, for the bible is
not a law book it is like the Player's Handbook in D and D (yes i am a nerd!!!) The Handbook gives
the player suggestions upon what they COULD do with their character not what they SHOULD do. It is
the exact same with the bible! |

Believing in god is just about keeping the faith in something supernatural. Those who believe that
there exists a supernatural power in this world must have felt it by someway or the other. But here
comes a question about the Bible which many people say that it was created by God itself. It is said
that God made few fellow people write the Bible and that is how it was created. Christians follow
the Bible very much and they believe that the Bible is their utmost truth of life. Thus there comes
a very complex situation as what is real and what is true. Since both are believed equally by
different class of people henceforth we cannot challenge their faith as both have their respective
set of notions in their mind. Thus we can conclude that God is real and Bible is true. |

"God" is real because a non-natural agent is the only possible reason/explanation for the ultimate
origin of all natural things that does not contradict science. This is repetition for some readers,
but I need to say it so no one thinks I am making empty claims. I believe the Bible because no
other book is like it that deals with our ultimate origin, purpose, and future. Some, like the
Koran, are like it in several things, I do not deny that. The Bible explains why there is evil in
the world: Sin. "God" allows evil because he chose to give us free will and he allows for
consequences of sins. Just because someone is hurt does not mean they were hurt because of their
sin, though. The Bible made prophesies that have been fulfilled such as the one about a nation being
made in one day and about the Temple being destroyed without a stone left on another. The love of
enemies is taught in the Bible, which supports that it comes from "God," because sacrificial and
unconditional love is the answer for us all, personally and universally, I believe. Anyone who says
otherwise is saying love is not the answer. And Yahshua's prophesied sacrifice was certainly for us.
Isaiah and other prophets hundreds of years before Yahshua prophesied that the Messiah was to suffer
and die for the wicked, bearing their sins. That is love that Mohammed, Allah, Buddha, and others
like them don't even claim to have for us, as far as I know. His sacrifice is something I don't find
in other "ways." |

Wow!, I am amazed that someone can look at the creation of man or woman, and say it was something
that was started out.. By a fluke of nature. Every cell, every part of our working mechanism is so
complex and utterly complete. The birth of a baby..the fact we can create life within life. This is
a gift from GOD. Atheists will argue there is no proof that God exists, and the Bible is just a
Book..NOT!..My goodness, open your eyes, and just take a good look around. Of course, there is no
way I can open your heart to the truth unless you are willing to accept the truth. Have you ever
read the words of God?..The answers to life, to love, they are in this fantastic book. Argue to your
dying day, but my Heart and Soul will never change what i know to be the truth.It takes years and
years of studying the Bible..to understand what is meant for us -individually. It is a personal
journey, one of growth and direction..Look at the plants, the trees, the tiniest flora or bird..the
sea chock full of life, the weather, the beauty of every season. God opens the heart and mind, and
lets the Soul roam free. We have been given the gift of CHOICE. We can choose to believe..or not. I
see the miracles all around. And when I pass away from this world?..I wont be one of the many
saying, " Oops.." when they stand before God for judgement.. |

I believe in God, but I also believe that it is important for Christians to push the envelope and
question the way in which churches and theologians interpret the bible, and also re-evaluate our
position on a range of social and cultural issues.
I am also not entirely convinced that having these online "God exists, God doesn't exist" debates
are especially useful. I am comfortable enough in my Deistic faith that I do not feel the need to
enter into heated exchanges with atheists or agnostics. I'm not at all bothered by what they
believe, or by what they choose not to believe. Thankfully, we live in a pluralistic, market and
capital driven society, where people of different faiths, or none at all, can all hold and promote
their own views, and their effectiveness will determine just how large a slice they will ultimately
control of the market. That's the beauty of ideology in a western capitalist society. |

EXACTLY PROVE IT !!! As others have said Man made god long ago when he started worshipping object
because he didn't have reason or answers to his surroundings which was fair enough because it was
the most logical explanation at our early part of evolution .as time went on gods changed & many
religions invented to keep order,control,manipulate,brain wash as for those who still believe you
cant help being victims of primitive thinking its stamped into your brain . But if it brings you

People die because of religion and if God was all knowing then he would not have let people know he

I'm very tired of the ontological argument for the existence of a god.
1: Causality is a human concept and is only a definition that helps us to understand how we view
things interacting. It's not a law, only an assumption.
2: Causation even as we understand it now breaks down when we look back in time to around 3
nanoseconds of the Bing Bang.
3: Trying to use a god to explain the origins of the universe is raises even more questions that not
needing a cause in the first place.

Having read this debate, i have to comment upon it.
The Bible is a 2000 year old book. I'm perplexed as to why this book proves the existence of God.
How can a book prove the existence of something? What proof is there that the book is not fiction? -
none.
Christianity, i must say however is very clever. All the God things are attributed to God's work.
All the bad is attributed to a naughty naughty man called the devil, who just can't do anything
good.
This seems slightly unbalanced to me. Furthermore the concept of heaven and hell is rather
ingenious. If you don't believe God you'll be burned and tortured for all eternity. What's that -
you haven't sinned? - of course you have - the only way to get to heaven is by believing in Jesus,
the only person who can save your wicked life.
To me - this appears to be entrapment.
Don't get me wrong - i don't have a problem with Christians, or how they worship. My problem is the
Bible. I've read it several times, and always with an open minded view.
I'm a Pagan minister. What i believe, practice, and worship, are things that through my personal
experiences and satisfaction have been proved. This is via a mix of quantum mechanics, biology, and
personal experimentation. I can give answers to what i believe, that are more than just quotes from
a book. |

I'm not going to say that it is wrong and no one should believe it. I don't believe in it, I've been
to church since was little , I've tried to believe in it, I just think it is very far fetched for
me.
So no, there is no God, The bible is not real, or at least not all of it is and there is no proof to
prove me otherwise.
