I agree with you Damien. I don't use the word God because to me that seems like a human form. I
like the words Universe, Engergy, or Supreme Force. I think with those words it's easier to
understand that you can't understand. (if that makes any sense) |

I definitely think you are on to something in this debate Damien. The fact of the matter is: ''the
human mind cannot comprehend infinity or eternity.'' It has no answer whatsoever! What is known is
simply finite, what is not known is infinite, we simply stand on the island of
ignorance concerning the aforementioned, in the midst of illimitable INFINITE numbers of Universes
drifting in oceans of inexplicability. Our sole business in every generation is to reclaim a little
more understanding of the infinite wisdom of ''God!''
Science has absolutely no answer, too, as to how ''God'' extracted carbon fourteen out of a star and
created life. CERN's answer went up in a dismal little puff of smoke!....;-)
Therefore as you point out one can only adore ''GOD'S'' wonderful infinite magical mystery tour! |

Why should a fairy-tale be adored? I have better things to do, thank you. |

Why don't you pray and ask him if he wants to know you? He's known you for a long time.
I don't just adore God. I do know him. |

"humans cannot possibly think to understand God's true form or intentions for the past, present and
future" is just a way of avoiding the topic entirely. It's similar to bad artists who say "it's just
too deep for you to understand", except less believable. |

If God existed (and I mean any god, not just the Christian version) then they ought to be able to be
known. In fact, if I'm supposed to believe in such an entity, I will only do so with significant,
objective evidence for their factual existence. No evidence = no belief. |

You'll only be adoring something you make up in your mind--even if what you make up is the not
knowing. You'll only wind up adoring yourself masquerading as God. |

I’m going to have to agree with Charlee. If you cannot know god then you cannot know that you
cannot know him/her/it/them. If you could know that you cannot know then you would know which would
cause you to disappear in a paradoxical puff of your own logic. So don’t blame me. |

I think the big assumption in your argument is that you say "God cannot be known"; yet you are
saying, in a sense, I know God and he cannot make himself known in anyway to man. Seems like you
are claiming to know quite a bit about Him. It is self-refuting and therefore, false. |
