I think humans are speeding up a process that is naturally happening to the planet. Regardless if
"global warming" exists or not, something is happening to the planet and we're expediting the
process. Bad for us. |

You are correct as far as it goes, but make no mistake. The natural causes were in a stable and
balanced state that had lasted for thousands of years. We tipped the balance and from here on out it
is a matter of damage control. |

There is no question in the science world that global warming is a reality only one in the general
population. The green house effect is not something that is disputed by anyone, nor is the fact
that gasses such as CO2 and methane have green house properties. The amount of such gasses that
humans are creating right now is trumping the Earths natural ability to recycle it thus we are
getting higher and higher green house gas concentrationsin the atmosphere. It may seem like it is
impossible for us to have any real effect on the atmosphere as a whole but in the past hundred or so
years we have pumped enough CO2 to increase the concentration by about a third, to a level higher
than ever before in at least 600,000 years, or as far back as we can check via ice core samples. If
you look to Venus you can see how much of an effect that green house gasses can have on a planet.
There is not a square inch of that planet that you could stand and not start to melt. While it is a
little closer to the sun than Earth, it is even hotter than Mercury which has no atmosphere and is
hovering right next to the sun. Clearly we will never come close to the concentration of CO2 that
Venus has but we are increasing it enough to have tempatures rise globally by a few degrees. It
doesn't seem like much if you think about the difference between a 70 degree day and a 73 or 74 or
75 degree day, but its effects on weather patterns and ocean and wind currents as well as ice sheets
and all the sensitive ecosystems on the planet become something catastophic. |

Yes, It is happening. I think that the pollution outweighs the natural causes. |

I am not convinced it is a scam. But the main players in the worlds game are not heeding what more
liberal societies are conforming to. There isn't much we can do about global warming until America,
China and India are on board and believe it is happening. Else we are just shooting ourselves in the
foot whilst they boom until the big bust.
It is a question of living for the minute or sensibly planning for your childrens future.
I believe I know where the priorities of the major players lie, and as climate change gets worse,
the more some economies can grow through ignoring it, the more quiet and ineffective the voice will
be that believes something should be done about it.
Personally, I do know something is happening. What the cause of it is, is for better trained brains
than mine, but their should be a global concecous, and we should all be singing from the same hymn
book.
When has that ever happened in the real world?
I think I posted on the wrong side. |

Its just as big a scam this time around as it was when it came up the first time a couple centuries
ago. |

Its a scam. The world has always been going through different stages of cooling and warming. And
according to climate graphs we are actually supposed to be warming up. I'm not saying that we aren't
helping it along therefore speeding it up. |

No. I don't think it's a scam but I know the stupid o-zone layer is melting away like it's been for
how many centuries...I don't think anyone should be concerned though about the environment, the
world is going to end no matter how natural or organic things are, you know? |
