Global Warming Is Not A Cycle
I think this may be an obvious question for some, but the opposite for others. There is overwhelming evidence for this, and some people need a reality check.

It exists, full stop, no 'cycle' for warming up because it would have slowed down by now, Ice samples from Antarctica, and other forms of evidence show that the increase in CO2 is caused by us.

what scientific evidence are you basing this on?

It is a cycle. Global warming will eventually lead to another ice age like it has many times before man. If it keeps happening with or without man's intervention then it's cyclic

No we are in a cooling cycle now. The earth stopped warming on the first of April 1998. Since then it has been one poor summer after another. If it carries on like this I am moving to the south of France, or northern California.

If there is no cycle whatsoever, then how do you explain why the O16 and O18 isotope records
show high temperatures in the roman area, cold temperatures in the dark ages, high temperatures later on, and the little ice age?

Do you think that Earth exists in some sort of stasis box, so that everything is always exactly the same?

There were no ice caps during the time of the dinosaurs. There were no ice caps during the time our hominid ancestors were alive. And at least once in the distant past, Earth froze over completely.

Baseline condition for Earth is ice-free; we are at the (apparently) final stage of the latest of four known major ice ages. All of human history takes place during a small break in the ice age called an "interglacial".

If humans alone are the cause of global warming, who caused it when the other ice ages ended?

Humans are indeed contributing to the pollution of our planet... But it would be ludicrous and egotistical to think the Earth doesn't have warming/cooling cycles and can't change temperature without us.

It does have cycles and i do agree (partially) with what you are saying, but the cycles the earth has are not as violent as this!
We are killing the earth, whether you like it or not, future generations are going to be ashamed of us for ruining the only planet we have.
If it where a cycle, this cycle would start to slow down, but the proof of this so called 'cycle' is non-existant.
The pollution levels are out of control, the amount of CO2 is increasing now, the world's levels of CO2 in the atmosphere is ridiculas, the whole world doesn't give a d*m about the future of this precious planet, we have a chance to change our ways, but we are not taking it, we are being so selfish.
