I agree because no matter how much people pay for make up it probably wont work
Example: My sister loves her make up and bought a new pundation which is on the tv said it worked
and she says it does and just works like the normal cheap one she gets.
I am gonna admit tho i buy expensive eye liner because it works. |

I wholeheartedly agree. Too make it worse, most of the time you can't even tell that they are
wearing it. It is even considered bad style to be able to tell they are wearing make up. So, why buy
it at all?
Where's the sense? |

My wife left me... I don't understand.
After the last child was born, she told me we had to cut back on expenses - I had to give up
drinking beer.
I was not a big drinker, maybe a 12-pack on weekends.
Anyway, I gave it up but I noticed the other day when she came home from grocery shopping. The
receipt included $45 in make up.
I said, "Wait a minute I've given up beer and you haven't given up anything!"
She said, "I buy that make up for you, so I can look pretty for you."
I told her, "Hell, that's what the beer was for!"
I don't think she'll be back |

I will play the role of Devil's Advocate on this topic you posted, Coolgirl, to prove the opposite
is correct....;-)
May I, please? :-)..........
Ok, we are as Nature intended, without makeup.
We should not think of what pleases us, expresses our inward feelings of pleasure we feel when we
look at that very beautiful unmade-up face in the mirror..........we should not think ourselves as
worthy of Art, or Artistic-Expression that painting of the face gives us, because we are better
served being self-righteous, holier-than-thou, jealous, insecure, stuck-up Bit***s...........;-)
who deserve nothing, including make up. Or Art Supplies.
And we as women are UNWORTHY of the money spent on....Us.
It is in the Eye Of The Beholder.........;-) |

Not exactly. They also spend money on food, bills, shoes, clothes, car, gas.... Basic necessities
and wants too, you know. |

I wear make-up and it is not a matter of me being insecure, it is a matter of feeling good about
yourself.
I know that you probably wont walk outside, after you just woke up with the messiest hair in the
world, worst smelling morning breath and say"It's going to be a good day!"
Not even close.
Being insecure about your looks is when you get a haircut and think that it looks horrible so you
walk around with a hat on for a week until it grows out the way you want it.
Wearing powder or lip-gloss is a matter of having that feminine touch that most women want to
feel.
If I was so paranoid with spending 3 bucks on CoverGirl powder pack then I wouldn't be have a PRIDE
in myself that some people have. |

While I agree with partially on the issue, I have to stand up for the people who don't wear make up.
I would like to see just how many women spend huge amounts of money on make up. Some polls and
evidence that this isn't just an opinion based on some people in a high school spending lots of
money on beauty products. |
