In my school, girls are plastering their faces in make-up, using handbags, and wearing 'sexy' underwear. These are things that women do and the girls that do this are 11. I was appalled why my friend started doing these, she is the sweetest kid. As a girl of 14, i don't see the point of acting like adults and throwing away our childhood, as soon we WILL and i think they should appreciate all the time they have to be kids.
I agree. At my school a lot of the years 7 are like this.. There's just a very little amount of year
7s who actually look like year 7s.. And you look at them and think that's how the other 11 yr old
should look like.. Not caked in makeup and w.e else they do..these days its hard to separate the
younger ones from the older ones because the younger ones look so much older.
-Nods- I agree completely. I am 15, and constantly ask the girls in my school why they must
constantly use makeup EVERY day, and there's a never a solid reason. Promiscuity, as you stated with
the sexy underwear thing, is seeping into their heads, but I can't just hate them for it; It is
drilled into young girls' minds to wear thick make-up, be skinny, be sexy, etc, you know where I'm
going with this. It makes me ill.
I agree!!
They already think about going out so early, and make up. I had a friend and apparently she had her
first boy friend at the age of 6or something.
I see it everyday, its the parents fault and the media they will try to sell lighters to little kids
if they think it would sell and they could get away with it
I totally agree although in the US, a handbag is not just an adult thing, young girls often carry
them, I see nothing adult about that. The makeup and clothing are a cry for attention. Most young
girls have no idea what they are in for and should be concerned with more age-appropriate play.
So little girls should be pressured to Anorexia and promiscuity (Which can easily slip to sluttiness and prostitution) just because it's 2008? I don't think so.
