Gibson Is Better Than Fender
They gave birth to the Les Paul. That's justification enough for me, but I was wondering what the opinions of others are...

Purely subjective. It all depends on your style and what feels good in your hands. But lets be honest for a moment. The quality of Fender and Gibson have come down...way down...because of their outsourcing of materials and labor. You are not going to find an excellently made guitar at a great price these days. Lets face it, an American made strat is different than a Mexican/Chinese made strat. The quality just isn't the same. I prefer Ibanez myself.

Actually Les Paul's mom gave birth to Les Paul, but that's beside the point. It depends on what you want to play, and if you want blusier stuff, you use Fender, but for rock and jazz you would use Gibson. They are both great brands. But don't forget about Yamaha.
