Gibson has that rock tone, deep and rich/and can produce some awesome metal screech like sounds.
They even have the rock look to them. Who can't resist the SG. Rock on Angus Young! |

Gibson and Fender are two very authentic names of guitar brands. Both of them are very old and they
belong to the royal category of guitars. World famous guitar players starting from Eric Clapton to
Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour to Eric Johnson has used guitars both from these two brands. The
difference between these two brands is in the sound that they create. They have their own signature
sound which is somewhat different from one another. Both the sounds are individually having their
own character and resonance which makes them different. That is the reason why different guitars are
preferred by different guitar players depending on their taste of sound. Somebody prefers Gibson
because they like the character of Gibson whereas somebody likes Fender. Thus we cannot say that
anyone is better than the other. It is just a matter of choice. |
