Yes it can but I do not believe that life and genes should be patented and used as intellectual
property by big pharmaceuticals. |

Yes it is! It help the founding and help support the findings of the different things that can be
passed down by genetics.. |

Anything living in this world is now ready to take the benefits of advanced medical technology which
is solely dependent on latest genetic research. This is the most welcome feature to entire living
universe as it helps in many ways. Likewise, it helps the human race by finding the unknown and
incurable diseases that is quite impossible to find by normal observations. The most life
threatening and deadly diseases can be found and thus cured in a very well manner. Scientists are
doing the genetic researches to help the entire humanity as well as the plants’ life. It is also
very much helpful to discover the unknown facts of lives that still exist on earth. Thus it can be
said that this blessing of science is now all set to accelerate the human race to a long way. |

Yes as long as the research does not against moral rules. |

I believe that genetic research is something that can benefit the human race. Scientists have
learned a lot of things from the genetic make of many different species. Many cures to diseases and
the secrets of life have been discovered through genetic research. Therefore, I believe that it
could benefit the human race because through genetic research, we have been able to find cures and
answers to many of the most dangerous and life threatening diseases. Scientist should continue to do
genetic research. This research should be done on animals and humans alike. Not only does it benefit
the human race, it also benefits the plant and animal worlds as well. |

Research into human diseases via genetic experimentation is laudable, and will undoubtedly save
lives. But at what cost?
Do we as a society really believe that scientists can be trusted? Not so long ago they were telling
us radiation was good for us, and that there was no link between lung cancer and smoking
cigarettes.
I fear that by going down this road with genetics we are in very real danger of opening up a Pandora
box. With scientists continually wishing to push the envelope, how long will it be before someone
testing the boundaries of legislation oversteps the mark and gets the human race into a predicament
we cannot control? Not long is the short answer. |
