I am for equal rights no matter whether it is sexual orientation, race, gender, age, religion etc.
The activity doesn't harm anyone else so I think that we have every right. Well as far as I'm
concerned as long as the rights that are afforded are the same I don't really care whether they call
it marriage or not. |

This issue is a moot point. Gay or straight, whatever race creed or color you are...we are all
human beings. All born with the same rights and dignities as any other living person on this
planet.
Whatever personal reason you may have to object to it, you can keep it to yourself. Every person
has the right to every statute under their governing sets of laws. Especially when it comes to
human rights. If this was a different debate, like "should gays be able to adopt?" it would be a
different set of rules that would apply as it would no longer be a human rights issue, but rather a
subjective question of whether it is deemed socially responsible to lets gay people raise kids.
However, no one can stop two people that are the age of majority, from having a relationship and
committing to marriage. To deny them that is to deny them their human rights and creating a
different sub-class of people. Oh wait, I think that road may have been traveled before...I think
it was called SLAVERY!!! |

I'd say yes. I'm completely for equal rights for all people regardless of age, race, gender,
religion, sexual orientation, etc. |

Phrased as you have done so in the above explanation in the debate set forth here, I agree with your
reasons why. |

Murderers pay taxes to , should they be allowed to kill
the marriage vows say a man and a woman.
Slavery has nothing to do with anything, it was to long ago to be of any value to anything |

Pull out your Constitution. Find me the section where the US grants the right to marriage to any
individual. Go on, I'll wait... |

Most of the taxes come from the hetero population. I don't think homosexuals deserve gay marriage on
the basis of tax based contributions to the state. I think the hetero population should have a vote
in the matter seeing as how they pay taxes also. The reasoning doesn't fit. |
