I liked it a wee bit better, but since I didn't care for the simpsons, it didn't take much to care
for it a wee bit more. |

Sorry. Some episodes might be as funny or funny than some episodes of the Simpsons but when you
compare the entire bodies of work their are not even in the same class. Not to mention that Futurama
was built on the accomplishments of the Simpson's. |

I've enjoyed Futurama but it's nowhere close to the social commentary the Simpsons have turned out
over the years. What makes the Simpsons so great is despite their occasional absurdity they truly
do present a family with members which the majority of us can relate to in some form or other.
Whereas the Futurama misfits are far less personal -- I don't think many people see themselves in
Bender or Zoidberg or even Fry the token average human for that matter. |
