I definately agree with this. |

Its just a normal day
i dont see why everybody gets all worked up about it |

Not the day itself. On Friday the thirteenth, superstitious people focus more on the things that go
wrong with their day. Whereas on other days, not much attention is paid to the little things that go
wrong. |

My baby brother was born on Friday the 13th and that was one of the luckiest things that ever
happened to me. |

I was born Friday 13th and 13 is my lucky number, hence the Screen name Muin13. |

It's a date... GET OVER IT! A black cat crossing your path, walking under a ladder, opening an
umbrella in the house |

You are right. Luck cannot exist because:
Luck-A greater power causing a certain event to happen in a certain way that is beneficial to
someone. This is impossible because that would require everyone in the world to win the lottery and
that doesn't happen. Therefore if unluck- a greater power causing a certain event to happen in a
certain way that is baneful to someone. There is coincidence though which is purely chance. Take a
die as a example. If i roll the die and i am attempting to get a 6 and i get a 1 people classify it
as unlucky. If i hit a 2-5 its also unlucky and then if you hit a 6 its apparently lucky. If i was
lucky i should have gotten a 6 every time or the first time. |

Yup.
Superstition is lame. |

For me, its actually a good luck day |

I personally can't find much correlation between negative events and the date, apart from my strange
mild grudge against Wednesdays. (To be honest I didn't even realise it was Friday the 13th today.) |

It's a fallacy where we attribute events to certain things - for example, you might pass an exam
whilst wearing special socks - you might attribute this win to the pair of socks, and so wear them
again again to cause the same event to happen.
It's the same for Friday the 13th - anything bad can happen to anyone on any day, and because of it
- we attribute it to the day as opposed to our own or random actions.
Lol although ironically i broke up with my partner today.... |

I heard this morning on a Wall Street Journal report that an Insurance company in Holland did a
study and found that Friday the 13th was actually safer in areas of fires and other sorts of claims. |

When I see a ladder, I walk under it. But, no, mirrors don't break when I look at them. I'm not that
ugly. |

Yes it is, I just bit my lip, now it's bleeding, I'm having phlegm clogging my throat . |
