| Food Packaging Is Often A Rip-off |
| How insulting is it that manufacturers not only shrink the size of food servings for the same price but they add concave walls bending in from the sides or bottom of the package so the inside volume of product is smaller? Or they'll enlarge the handle relative to the rest of the container so it looks a lot bigger than it really is. Or they'll put a big cap on the top and then taper the body of the bottle away sharply. Or, the old classic - they'll fill most of the space with air. |
