Firefox Is Better Than IE
We should all use firefox instead of ie because it's more advanced, like spelling check.

I mainly like Firefox for the add-ons and the download manager.

IE is just annoying.

Yes, Internet Explorer drives me crazy (i don't know why i keep using it). Firefox runs a lot smoother and doesn't freeze up like IE does.

Firefox > Internet Explorer. Whenever I try to run IE on my computer at home, my computer ALWAYS crashes, and I have to restart it. Firefox is better because not only does it not crash my computer, but it runs faster, smoother, and saving websites in the little bar directly below the address bar makes everything so much simpler... =D

If you write code or know anything about Trojans or key-loggers you know Firefox is better....

I totally agree! On my PC, IE is either taking forever to load or is always freezing . My favorite FireFox features include the cooliris and piclens add-ons.

I agree. Internet Explorer stalls too much, and it has too many requirements for malware and other Internet protection systems.

IE is open to more exploits, being the default browser for the most popular OS. Also, I'm being biased, but Internet Explorer is closed source, which means only Microsoft can create updates for it, while as FireFox is free to modify.

I prefer it much more.

I love Firefox because of all the addons and expansion packs you can download to heavily customize it. IE has none of these. Like Foxclocks, Adblock Plus, IE Tab (lol), Panic! And Page Title Eraser to name a few that I use.

There is certainly a lot more content readily available for FireFox. Sometimes I run into sites that require Internet Explorer, though. I don't know enough about the coding to know why this is, but for me it means I can't get rid of IE yet.

Firefox is faster, more secure, and customizable. It also displays standards compliant code (websites) well. It's my first choice, and even when I must use a different browser, second choice isn't IE. As for sites that don't look good or function well in Firefox, they are mostly poorly coded sites that I don't visit again.

Firefox is a much superior browser than Microsofts IE. Though IE is starting to adapt some of the features that make Firefox a great browser, such as tabs, it is still a C based program that is poorly developed and full of exploitable bugs.

At home, my only option is Internet Explorer. However, at school, the majority of students use IE, leading to Firefox to run smoothly and quickly. Because IE is more widely acceptd, Firefox is usually less crowded. I usually choose Firefox when options are given.

Firefox is far better, I agree. However, there are still some sites where Firefox doesn't work very well so I still feel the need to have Internet Explorer on my system for those. I have a suspicion that this is because Microsoft deliberately tries to introduce incompatibilities into its products that will make them work poorly with Firefox. The company behind the other alternative browser, Opera, has complained that Microsoft has deliberately tried to create frustrating experiences for Opera users and I find this completely credible.

I find IE clunky and lame. Firefox is far more configurable.

No. Anything is better than Infernal Exploder 666, not just Firefox.

Opera is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

Mozilla is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

K-meleon is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

Safari is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

Arachne is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

Off By One is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

The browser in Star Office is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

Lynx for DOS is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

Mosaic 3.0 is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

Knots is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

Cello (the first ever browser, from 1992) is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

Hell, Kon-Tiki, the browser made for 8-bit systems like the Commodore 64 and Atari 800, is better than Infernal Exploder 666.

I disagree. I always use Internet Explorer and I do not have any problems with it. However, I have only attempted to use Foxfire one time and I only experienced problems with it. Therefore, I can only say that I like Internet Explorer. It seems that I have used Internet Explorer for so long, that I am almost afraid to switch. However, if many people agree that it is better, maybe I will attempt to use it again. So I will continue to read postings and who knows, maybe I will switch and give Foxfire another try. However, at this point, I would say that prefer and like Internet Explorer a lot better.
