From my experience I agree. Filipino cooking is pretty diverse They use rice, rice noodles, as well
as egg noodles. The duck eggs play a big part, and are eaten in varying stages of development. Some
are preserved in salt and/or under the ground. Lots of fish. Chicken and pork.Mong beans bean
shoots and bamboo soots. Leafy veg inc Chinese cabbage and marrow like veg Upo, and a small cucumber
called bitter melon. Plenty of spices inc ginger.
Filipinos sure know how to have a party. Tables are full of great dishes. |
