I agree with you 100%. Fetuses are alive, etc, etc,.
I didn't see anything having to do with abortion in your title or explanation... I wonder why
everyone else who posted in this column is writing about it... Am I missing something. |

Of course fetuses are alive, nobody's disputing that. I think the underlying debate here is whether
this proves that abortion is wrong, which it does not. Fetuses are alive like how plants are alive;
they breath and take in nutrients, but they cannot feel and they have no nervous system to feel
pain. I could go on and on, but then I would be going off the topic of the debate (which I'm
technically doing anyway, so...) |

I agree they're alive. I also stay resolutely pro-choice. Until they're outside their mother
they're still part of the mother and she is the boss of her own body. |

This is true and it is sad that many heartless women out there do not realize this. There are many
women who could care less if their fetus has a heartbeat or a brain and they go out there and kill
them. There should be some laws created that protect fetuses from murders. Abortion is not the
answer to any situation, it is murder. All people need to realize that fetuses are human and they do
have rights too. They have a heart and a brain and they feel abortions. Therefore, people do need to
realize this and respect their fetuses more. |

Is there anyone anywhere who is disputing the fact that feotus's are alive? They are alive in the
same way a lettuce or an amoeba is alive, no one is disputing the fact that they are 'alive'. |
