Just because SOME things are pre-ordained doesn't mean ALL things are pre-ordained, and likewise
just because sometimes we have free will doesn't mean all things are determined by free will.
The sun will burn out of energy someday, that is pre-ordained and actually a scientific fact, and
that will impact all life forms on earth the day it happens, but it doesn't mean there is no free
will exercised by earth life forms in all the days leading up to destruction.
You can have both. I guess the real debate is which aspects are fate and which are free will, and
you may not always be able to prove it's one or the other. |

It's not unlike a gajillion other problems with the limits of human thinking.
It's a balance. The moment we look at one, the balance tips in favor of the one we're looking at.
They are both true but neither is true when used to say the other is not true.
The end result for those who pursue wisdom concerning the matter is trust. |

I think they flow hand in hand. |

That hardly makes sense. Free will is when something is certain to happen and there's nothing you
can do to stop it...its like chess you make the moves and the pieces have no free will |

If fate is predetermined that means our free will is also meaning that it wouldn't be free will but
followed will.... |
