True. And ironically it's also a pretty good place to hear the latest conspiracy theory or
subgenious conclusions. You just have to take it all in and sort out the usable info for yourself. |

Yeah. Surely many people will find the latest news and post it. Therefore, it's gonna be on here.
It's actually pretty nice not to tune into the TV and search every news channel to see everything
that is going on. Ugh! |

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Many people on this site are quite capable of stating fact,
sharing information and getting their point across eloquently. You, joe9, are one of them. I always
enjoy reading what you have to say. I disagree with Quincel on some of what he said. I do think
there are news worthy topics discussed on here and that there are many informed people who write on
this site. I do agree that some are overly opinionated and some people are not as informed about
what goes on in the world around them as they could be. If, however, he would like to see a debate
on the topics he mentioned, he could post it and I think those that have opinions on said topics
would respond. I have noticed that the topics that are of intellectual or academic nature draw
different people to comment on them than those about whether too many people own fish that do not
know enough about them. You keep up the good work. Your topics are good and you write well. It is
nice to come across people who are adept at making a point. |

True.
As long as you, and I, and Keepmindok are here, there are talented persons here.
Therefore, in light of these facts, I do agree with this debate. |

I disagree as HIDELL is a regular contributor to this site. :-) |

People on this site are by and large overly opinionated and underinformed. It is certainly a very
bad place to get the news, there hasn't for example been a single debate on Somalian piracy, the
genocide in Congo or many other major news stories. |
