I have mixed feelings about this topic. I love German shepherds but if I live in a small apartment,
I would not have such a big dog. German shepherds are made for the open. If you live in the country,
with lots of open space around the house, perfect ! But not if you live on the 16th floor of an
apartment building in Manhattan... |

Yes German shepherds are good dogs but there are other dogs out there that can do the same job as
the German shepherd so i think it should be there choice on the kind of dog they have. |

They are big and get hair all over.
I want something small, or something that that doesn't shed all over. |

I prefer diversity. Not everyone prefers that breed. It's better to have different people with
different kinds of pets if they can afford them and are willing to care for them. |

No, I have a Doberman pinscher... He's 150 lbs. Of love, and would do anything to protect us. He is
the best dog I have ever had... Besides my lab when I was a little girl. It's up to the person as to
what type of dog they want, but people need to be responsible in order to own a pet before even
thinking about getting one. |
