The second gayest and most obnoctious (not sure if that's how you spell it) show in the world,
beaten only by seinfield. |

Everybody Loves Raymond was a truly mediocre, run-of-the-mill sitcom, and Raymond wasn't even the
funniest character in the show. As such, I fail to see why anyone loves him. Raymond's mother was
probably the most humorous, watchable of them all, and his father was quite entertaining as well.
The only character who was less amusing than Ray was his wife. She just seemed grumpy, in a really
bland sort of way, much of the time.
Of all the American sitcoms that aired over the course of the past several years, Raymond was near
the bottom of the list. The humour tended to be predictable and uninspired. Frasier, on the other
hand, actually provided for smart entertainment, a more thoughtful form of humour and
multi-dimensional characters. I would argue that even Will & Grace was better than Raymond in this
regard. |

I never watched the show. I am a trekkie so other shows do not interest me. |
