We truly don't know this. |

God spoke, and blew stardust, creating everything in six days,
His time.
Here on earth each one of God's "days" translates into millions of years, as the divine stardust
travels from Heaven, bending time and space.
It's a quantum thing, and the only way to reconcile this tired subject, satisfying both the
"literalists" and the "nonbelievers".
And oh yeah, the scientific community... |

I know the Bible is Gods word. That knowledge is not based on belief. There is nothing else it could
be. No crack addict or group of crack addicts could possibly come up with anything like it. It is
meant to speak to the individual. Personal reasoning. Personal thought. The entire story has one
purpose...one individuals personal relationship with the creator.
When God created the heavens and the earth there were no such things as days and nights. Lets run
through it: The first 5 verses in the Bible
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.(ok...that was done) And the earth was without
form, and void; (ok...anybody want to take some guesses about the earth being without form and void
?) and darkness was upon the face of the deep. (ok....anybody want to take a stab at how much "time"
has passed at this point?) And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.(ok...another
stab at time duration?) And God said, Let there be light: And there was light. And God saw the
light, that it was good: And God divided the light from the darkness. (another stab perhaps? ) And
God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the
first day. (ok....the evening and the morning were the first day - would any moron like to debate
the problem with the first evening and morning being the first day?) Gen 1:1-5
Then on day 4...God made the sun, the moon and the stars. Morons for centuries.
Rookies on the left side of the aisle...rookies on the right. A bunch of sheep. One flock follows
stupid religious teachings and the other follows stupid secular arguments. |

That statement is fundamentalist. Every Thing Was Made By God In 6 Days - If you believe in God. And
also seeing that Christianity came from Judaism you've got nothing to be talking about. |

Religion or science as your belief dictates. But I think I will stick with evidential proof rather
than the 2000 year old ramblings of some ignorant sheep herders. |

No it was not. This is a ridiculous claim, and completely contradicts modern scientific theories
about evolution. |

No, it wasn't. Try over a period of a few billion years, not 6 days, and certainly not 6 days 6000
years ago. |

I could nitpick and say no, because I was made many, many days later. But to what I think you mean.
No, I don't believe the Bible is literal. And yes, I am a Christian. |

No everything was not made by god in 6 days
Self explanatory |
| |
|

|

If God is omnipotent, why did it take him six days? Couldn't an omnipotent being have done it
instantaneously? |

I am presuming most of those on the "FOR" side are schoolkids and American. It is extremely
concerning that so many are on that side of this debate. What a sad reflection of our children's
inability to think for themselves. How sad it is that so much brainwashing goes on.
If I were a Christian or an American or a parent of one of these kids I would be embarrassed. Such
remarkable ignorance. A sad reflection on society.
Believe in there being a god by all means but to do so in such a blinkered fashion is appalling. |

What reason does anyone have to believe that the Bible is referring 24 hour Earth days when it uses
the term “day“ in Genesis? Mainstream churches don’t even support a literal interpretation of
Genesis, much less any other portion of the Bible. For those who posted on the opposite side of this
debate, ask your pastor about a literal interpretation of Genesis the next time you go to church. |

Why do these ridiculous topics come up again and again after being soundly trashed over and over?
There is no evidence whatsoever for the existence of God and all evidence, *ALL* of it, demonstrates
that a literal 6-day creation is ludicrous.
Geez, I should make a macro. |

Only the wilfully ignorant and arrogantly uneducated share your know-nothing view.
Prove the world wasn't made last Tuesday and that everything you think are memories weren't just
created then. It's no less valid a "creation" myth than yours and is equally unprovable. |

It wasn't. Period.
This comes from the old testament which was written by man. Why not believe all written word? Lets
worship like the Egyptians did, they did it way before Christians, and had a plethora of Gods to
choose from.
There is no reason to believe in either. |
