I don't know the mind of God, but I am praying that he has not rejected atheists yet. Because I
want to see all of us in Heaven.
But, the Bible does say that those that reject Jesus Christ will be rejected by God on judgement
day.
So I guess my answer is.... He has not rejected them yet. |

I love God.
God loves me.
No worries, mate ;-) |

Of course! God is willing to accept and welcome anybody, no matter their race, gender, age, or any
other characteristic. |

Not sure I agree with the reasoning. Not sure I totally understand it.
However, I will definitely agree with this one.
1) Because just in case I am wrong all along it is nice to know.
2) Because this seems like the stance a Christian should take. Anything else seems completely
unforgiving, horrible even. God gave us free will, we use it and decide, quite reasonably, against
his existence and so he carts us off to hell. That would be completely out of order. |

Of course he hasn't, that's because to an atheist, God doesn't exist so there is no-one to reject an
atheist. XD |

I really angers me when people say that! How dare you throw your creepy imaginary friend on us! If
you want to lose your insanity to a book go a head but don't act like fundementalists.
It's wrong.-God Has Not Rejected The Atheist- as if god is real. Uhhhh |

God lives where God is invited, comfortable and excepted. Turn your back on him and he will do the
same until the day of Judgement. |

Four of the ten commandments concern themselves with what might be called the personal vanity of
god. That, on its face, is rather extraordinary. Fully 40% of what the Christian church defines as
virtuous conduct relates to appeasing the vanity of the great magic being in the sky.
It's clear then that God is not some mature, wise old man-type god who could look with mellow
understanding at his slaves, I mean flock, straying from the righteous path. Rather, he looks at
them with blazing fury and hysterical rage, considering them traitors who dared to defy his mighty
will. He is jealous, petty and vindictive. This is the portrait painted not by the diatribe of a
hostile atheist, but by his own holy book.
To the non-believer contemplating the christian faith objectively, one of its most striking features
is the important attributed to belief in the deity itself, as opposed to virtuous acts. Most
reasonable people would think that a person who lived a virtuous life, conforming to the basic
tenets of the Ten Commandments, for example, other than those which relate to the personal vanity of
god, would deserve any eternal reward which awaits the virtuous in the after life. Whether that
person openly embraced christianity, or had even heard of it, or the Ten commandments, should be
irrelevant. But, in fact, according to the doctrines of most branches of the christian superstition,
it is not.
Someone who commits outrageous acts of evil, genocide, for example, but accepts Jesus and repents of
his wickedness at the last, has a greater chance of getting into heaven than the non-Christian who
lives a selfless life, devoted to helping others. So Hitler gets into heaven, and Ghandhi is sent to
hell. Nothing could better demonstrate the absurdity of the christian cult. |

Its obvious that you are just trying to incite anger among the atheist group. I won't get angry like
some of the others but il argue a few of your points. I've never had high moral character I'm a jerk
just yesterday i walked up to a guy and asked if he needed help and after he said yes i responded
with well have fun with that. Sorry my freewill and conscience come from the thoughts of world
domination and killing all of humanity and I'm sure god isn't supporting me in that or maybe he is?
YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!! How can something inexistant reject something its just impossible. |

How arrogant and absurd are the numerous justifications people put forward to explain the existence
(or not) of a God. To believe that humans can even begin to understand any God's intentions is
laughable. How can we possibly know if 'God' is a contrived idea, the energy source of the entire
Universe, an omnipotent being that looks over our every move or a physical deity that can be harmed?
For the faithful that believe in miracles, with what method or mechanism does your God actually use
to make things change 'magically'? Wouldn't it take some form of specific interaction to make such a
change, rather than just wishful thinking? Some of you may be tempted to answer that question, but
that merely proves the point raised at the beginning of this reason about how arrogant people are
that they think that they can explain the actions and power of any God.
But this topic goes around and around..people attacking each other and not progressing the topic at
all, there are a lot of comments here, but mostly personal opinions and very little fact to
substantiate anything. 'Fact' in a topic as complex as this may suffice to be a view shared by a
great many people (perhaps such as the followers of a religious book) and is open to challenge by
others that have another 'fact' to discredit the thinking of the masses. In many other topics
however, fact would be defined as something provable and should provide a relevant source, be it a
creditable weblink, or just from qualifications or from experience that is not questioned by the
general public, such as an engineer's comments about the strength of a bridge. The point being
'fact' is information that YOU feel is correct or can be trusted and if it survives rigorous debate
and a large majority of people end up agreeing, then it is likely true. In all cases though, if you
have a valid alternate view to discredit the original perception of fact, you should show your
alternate source for others to consider if you want this 'fact' to stand the test of debate. Even
the well articulated comments here are still only unsubstaniated opinions. Much of it is repeated
over and over and still the topic is no closer to an answer. Comments are drawn out with padding and
full of irrelevant phrases such as 'I think...' and 'you haven't answered my question..BLAH BLAH',
rather than sticking to consise fact, so if you want a serious place to build on each thought to
learn new things and maybe get closer to the truth, rather than just to playing around and trying to
score points against each others intelligence without purpose, go to www.thoughtitthrough.com and
add to the structured topics to build on our collective knowledge for this topic, as well as many
related topics such as 'our purpose' and 'the origins of the Universe'. You will find many other
meaningful topics there also, plus you can add your own! |

What "god"? You have to prove one exists before making the claim. Fairy tales like the buybill are
not "proof".
Edit:
A bunch of words on a website is not "proof", so it doesn't need to be read.
What the godbots have to do is prove their "god". Here's how you do that:
1) In front of me, bring a decapitated (headless) car accident victim back to life.
2) Cause the water between the island of Taiwan (where I am) and Mainland China to split.
Land masses may not rise or fall and no temperatures may change; there has to be a bare seabed and
two walls of liquid water on each side.
You're the one who says these supposed events in the buybull happened and are possible, so
you have to prove them, not I disprove them. The burden of proof always lies with the
claimant.
If you can't do either of them, it means your "god" doesn't exist.
If you won't do either of them, it means you know your "god" doesn't exist but you
are a liar and are just too cowardly to admit it. |

Well, though I do find your appreciation and respect for atheism a breath of fresh air (I appreciate
it, I really do), the first circle of hell AKA Limbo is reserved for non-believers. That's the
biblical stance, but I do find your opinion morally sound. It makes a nice change from the numerous
religious arguments, an opinion in which they can both live in harmony (Y). |
