Don't Bring Family Into A Politician's Campaign
People shouldn't look at a politician's family but the person themselves

I think these tactics are underhanded and unprofessional of the opposition.

Family doesn't have anything to do with work. Think about your daily lives, if you do indeed work full time. You do not bring family to work and you shouldn't bring work home to your family. It is that simple. The two do not mix well.

I agree it's the politician who is going to represent you not his\her family.

I totally agree. The person that is running for office is the one that will be making decisions, not anybody else. The only against argument I can think of is that the politician's spouse might influence their decision-making, like Hillary Clinton did to Bill.

Why not? Scum like Ghouliani and McCainchurian who cheat on their wives and marry trophy wives for their money should be exposed, and adulterers like Gingrich and Bennett have multiple marriages should have to tell every gory detail.

That goes especially for George Putz - if his going AWOL for three years plus his alcohol and cocaine addictions been properly reported, he never would have become the twice unelected Resident. And let's not forget his rape of a girl in 1971 and forcing her to have a (then illegal) abortion.

If they're going to call themselves the party to "bring ethics back to the white house", then let's see them live up to it.
