With a cat I don't have to shovel piles of feces off the ground, it's all in nice sandy clumps that
can easily be scooped and dumped into the trash. QED
This debate has been on the website a half dozen times before. You can get better poll numbers if
you search for the older debates. Personally I prefer cats, but what I really believe is animals
are individuals just like people and it really comes down to which individual dog you are comparing
to which individual cat. There are amazing and pathetic examples in both species.
I suppose it really depends upon the type of life you lead. Some people actually have lives and
don't want to be tied down to their smelly dog...
That's why I'm all for cats. They can be cuddly, but they aren't too demanding. They can wash
themselves, urinate in a designated box, and know when to stop eating.
Cats have class and poise. They have fun personalities and are always enjoyable.
But dogs are typically stupid and dumb and happy. Yuck
Neither. It depends on the temperament and personality trait of the pet owner. Cats are very
independent animals and dogs are very needy and who are pack animals who follow a hierarchy. So it
all depends upon what the owner likes.
