Dogooders Need To Stop Pushing Their Morality On Others
Often times conservatives hear how we want to push our morality on other by legislation. Who really are the biggest offenders of pushing their values on others. Well, it's the left wing dogooders. Their morality says that each person should be entitled to food, shelter, education, healthcare, whether or not they can pay for it. They are such dogooders that they think everyone should live by their morality and so pass coercive laws so that everyone behaves they way they think they should. Conservatives may indeed agree that the right moral choice is...........
You are correct, the right wing has bought in to the charade, probably for the same reason the left does---political gain. I find it hard to believe in the goodness in the hearts of this type "altruist"-----one who likes spending others' resources for his supposed "moral" purposes.
I do thank you for admitting that people shove their morality on others all the time thru legislation. Seems to come down to who has the power to get their favorite moral issues passed into coercive laws. Perhaps the government should stay out of the moral making business entirely.
Ha ha ha, when it's your moral coercion you decide to name it "consensus" and "help." It does not appear that you consider taking from some to give to others by force an immoral act, or at least even a moral question---very interesting.
Then you describe any morality you apparently disagree with as idiosyncratic and using force.
I think you should really carefully try to understand exactly what you say.
Oh, protection of life seems to be a necessary function of government without moral coercion, since we all give up to the government our right to use force if someone is trying to take our life away. As far as "quality" of life, I am not sure what you mean? and who says what quality is? What if quality means forcing one's moral standards on those who don't agree?
