The Government Doesn't Really Lie To You That Much, Movies And The Media Skew.
My honest opinion is that they don't lie to use literally but they word themselves properly, like instead of the word war they use insurgency operation, so that they create loop holes...k and maybe they do lie a lot. Whats you take?

Conspiracy Theory/ Big Brother? The government is an organization. Look out for you, because the Government won't. Karl Marx knew that the only problem with his philosophy is that 'government is a business'.

I wish the private sector wasn't losing power in the U.S.
Such things as eminent domain etc.

No. Every government in the world is corrupt. I'm not saying it's good to be paranoid, I'm just saying we should all have a healthy level of suspicion of those in power. These people have nobody to answer to. Even when "independent" investigations into wrongdoing are conducted, it's almost always a whitewash. Naivety is a weakness.
