The EU Does Not Pose A Security Threat To The US
I don't think so, at least at this moment. Currently there are more EU leaders that are pro US than previously. E.g. Germany, Denmark, Italy, France, all have pro US leaders.

The European Union, China, India, and South America all pose a threat to US economic dominance, and to the US, that is a "security threat". There are no real political or military threats to the US.

The goal of US policy in the last fifty years is to defeat and prevent any other superpower from challenging it. Despite lies told to the contrary, the US is a nation of empire, not a "democracy" that opposes empires.
