No, it does not help developing countries if we boycott their cheap goods. It only hurts the poor
people who are working like dogs trying to make a living for their families. It is unfair that these
poor people have to work so hard for such little pay, but for many -- that is the only option they
have in life. They depend on that low pay to feed their families. If we boycott the cheap goods,
then we are putting their jobs in jeopardy and they could lose the little bit they have in life.
Therefore, it does not help developing countries if we boycott their cheap goods. |
