I'm not sure whether God created it or not, but there definitely is a hell. And just because God
loves us doesn't mean he doesn't punish us. If you don't do what God wishes, then you will be
punished (a.k.a. Going to hell). It's a harsh punishment, but an effective one. And if there was
no hell and everything was peachy, then there wouldn't be a need for God, and it wouldn't do us any
good to not pray or thank God because that's what he wants. |

Definitely, and I do not recommend you try and go there;-(
Hell is a place of eternal torment. |

Definitely. God prepared hell for the devil and his angels. Those of us that choose to not follow
God into eternity will perish in hell. |

You have heard this before, moreno.
People often reject God because they cannot stand the idea of children in Hell. This may easily be
dismissed. In the Bible, Jesus often references children symbolically with salvation. People who
cannot, and have not been able to make their decision, and not being mentally able to understand,
and not knowing, do not go to Hell.
As for the burning, here is an interesting subject. Hell is a dark place, as said in Samuel, so how
could this be if it was filled with fire? In Revelation, Jesus comes down ''Covered in fire and with
a sword out of his tongue''. Now, the fire is represented as God's judgement and most likely is not
physical. And the Sword is actually the Bible, or the "Sword of the spirit." So, again, the fire is
actually is the anguish that a huge mistake was made to go on for eternity. And, there are different
levels of Hell to match the 'crime', if you will. This is stated in Matthew, and Jesus says Matthew
11:20-24:
"Then He began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they
did not repent: “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were
done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and
ashes. But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than
for you. And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the
mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than
for you.”
This implies different people get different punishment. I hope I answered any questions, if not,
please let me know. |

Since "God" exists, as nature proves, then I can go to the next step: The afterlife.
Is there a hell? The Bible says so but I got reason to go on as well. Deity has to care about us to
let us be the dominant creature of the world and to make earth his special place in the universe. I
think that if deity cares about us, then deity is a just God. Justice means punishing wicked people
so, since we know that not everyone who does wrong is punished in this life, this just God will take
care of them by punishing them somewhere terrible. And the standard will be decided by deity, not
us. |

Yes it does. It's called "Heaven." Hell is being forced into the prescience of God when you
desperately want to escape God. And no, gods of all religions are not compassionate. Since when are
Baal and Kali Ma compassionate? EDIT: Also, if God is not compassionate, you better watch your ass,
then. |

In the bible it never said god created hell. Therefore we can assume that maybe the devil created
it. |

There is no reason to think that there is. There is no evidence of one and it appears to be a very
popular idea in religion, since they cannot all be right it proves that most of them must be
products of human imagination, and if that's true then there is no reason to believe that any of
them are not products of human imagination. |
