Ending it is not enough.
All of the US's and UK's war criminals - Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Perle, Rice, et al -
need to be renditioned, subjected to all forms of interrogation that Bush legalized, and tried in
the Hague without the benefit of Habeus Corpus nor the right to view or refute evidence against them
(as is done at Guantanamo). If/when they are convicted, they should executed in accordance with
international law and the Nuremburg Conventions.
If the US can use such tactics against others, then the tactics can be used against the US's war
criminals; in fact, what I'm suggesting be done to the US's war criminals is better than the
US is giving the kidnapees at Guantanamo. As George Carlin once said, "Let's not have a double
standard, one standard will do just fine." |

What war? The "war" on terror? If you mean the Iraq war, well that ended May 2003. It is now an
ideological conflict. It has nothing to do with terrorism and everything to do with creating a
permanent military presence as well as the forcing of western style democracy, which a majority of
the Islamic world does not want. So if you are referring to pulling out of these nations and ending
the crusade of global democracy, then yes I agree. |

I agree but if we end it too soon everything we went to war for that we fixed would go to waste and
it would put the middle easterners in more danger as well as America. |
