Do Think The Atheist's Had A Right To Put Up Signs Stating That "There's Probably No God. Now Stop Worrying And Get On With Your Life
I feel that if atheists aren’t allowed to put up their signs then why are religious people allowed to preach to everybody. No one said that you had to read the signs you can always turn your head if you strongly feel that way, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

If the religious can throw up their religious posters all over the place then the same should be true of the non religious. At the end of the day it is a form of discrimination and a limitation on free speech if the religious get to make the rules regarding this issue.

If religious mythologies can be spewed out in public places by godbots, then the right of atheists to debunk such mythologies has as much or an even greater right to be spoken.

Religion has had its chance to be heard, now the other side has a right to speak. The only reason the religious oppose atheist billboards is because they know their arguments would crumble if they were challenged.

There are two maxims about lies and truth following it:

It's easier to tell the lie than it is to refute it.

A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its shoes on.

Religion couldn't survive if those weren't true.

That's what the law says. Besides as long as I have read those psycho morman billboards all over the place I feel no sympathy for people who claim 'moral outrage'.

Absolutely, they have as much right to free speech as anyone. You cannot limit free speech to one group and deny it to another, it just doesn't work that way.

And it's an excellent sentiment to boot.

Free speech goes both ways. If signs allowing reference to or praising of God are allowed then signs challenging those beliefs have to be allowed too.

The belief that there was nothing and nothing happened to nothing and then nothing magically exploded for no reason creating everything and then a bunch of everything magically rearranged itself for no reason what so ever into self-replicating bits which then turned into dinosaurs. Makes perfect sense.

 And as long as you allow atheists to do the same to others' belief displays. There is nothing wrong with such a sign. I am strong enough in my faith to actually think it is funny and certainly not a threat. If Christians are allowed to put up signs exhorting people to believe, atheists should be able to put up signs exhorting people not to. No faithful person would believe them. True faith is always tested and is not a facile thing.
