It is HEAVEN ON EARTH, it is where a lot of kids first memories are made, its where are parents
went, and they took their kids, and they will take their children. Disney is a dream place for
people of all ages, It is based on family, and that is important. |

Disney World is overrated. |

Too commercial. No historical-value. It is just fantasy-land. |

Real > fake.
There are many places better. |

That dump is a collosal waste of time, money and resources, both in building it and visiting it. It
is culturally empty, and those who go there are as well.
If I were going to go to California, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong or Florida, I can think of a hundred
better ways to spend my time and money than visiting a corporate whore that owns a radio station
that promotes hate speech (look up "Spocko" on google), and whose founder falsely named innocent
people as communists to further his own career and win favour with Joe McCarthy.
And that's not to mention Disney's thieving in regard to copyrights. Why is it that Disney wants
copyrights continuously extended (currently is is 90 years), yet the company has MADE MONEY off of
works that are in the public domain after their copyrights expired (after 50 years)?
The company is run by moral cowards and hypocrites who only care about increasing profits. They are
whores of the worst sort. |

Whenever my partner and I are out having a wonderful time camping and hiking in a remote place, I
always make the joke, “Gee, honey, how come you never take me to Disneyland?”
A vacation to Disneyland (or -World) is the absolute last pursuit on earth we would choose. The
crowds alone are a total turn-off, and then there are our political problems with the Disney
empire.
Just like fast-food joints, Disney represents the worst ways in which children are seduced in our
culture by mass marketing. Have you ever seen the ticket prices for Disney rides, “breakfast with
the characters,” hotels, and merchandise? You are paying double for the name “Disney” alone.
The corporation is raking in millions, while supposedly offering kids a “magical” time.
Children are taught that razzle-dazzle rides are more fun than quieter pursuits (like camping trips)
and girls are brainwashed that fairy princesses epitomize femininity. |

I pity those who consider Disney World as a great place. Maybe for American children aged between 5
and 12. The world is filled with thousands of much more interesting places than a theme park.
Personally, I will never set foot in Disneyland or Disney World. |

As, gogo303ng said, it is just a theme park, and it is good but not the best for every one. |

Well certainly not everyone's dreams come true at Disney world, it's just a theme park and most
theme parks are fun anyway. I like it but it is still no where near my favorite place on earth |
