Teens Should Be Allowed Freely To View Dirty Flicks At Age 16
At what age should teens be allowed to freely view dirty flicks if they wish? (please keep it clean)

If they so chose to watch it. Its kind of stupid that you can have sex at 16 but can't watch porn till 18. So do you have to be blindfolded until your 18??!?!!? Lol

I think they should be able to! It would help to control their sex drive a little bit, so there might be a lesser chance of them getting someone pregnant. (Besides, most boys at age 16 watch porn anyway, whether its from a movie or the Internet)

I think that when teens are 16 they should be mature enough to decide whether or not to watch a dirty movie!

And the legal age to have sex here (not that people obey it ) is 16 so yeah if you can do it why cant you watch it!

Over here the age of sexual consent is 16. So if people are allowed to have sex, why can't they watch it?

 A lot of parents, most, I hope, encourage their kids not to have sex until they are older/ready/married. There are plenty of outside influences going against a parent's teachings. So it would be wrong for a parent to say one thing while going along with all those unwholesome outside influences and OKing his child's viewing of porn. In other words, parents are supposed to be positive guides, and not negative influences.

I agree i feel that as a parent if you find out that they have it you should give them their space, i don't you should buy it for them that would crazy but you should understand because at one point you should remember that you where in fact that age once..........

If you mean porn, 16 the age at witch they may have sexual relationships. Or what ever the age of consent is in that nation

Just because some states allow consensual sex at the age of 16 dose not mean that it should be promoted or encouraged. Statistics show that more and more teens are getting pregnant than ever before. Allowing 16 years old to view pornography freely is definitely a bad idea.

Whatever the age is in that nation for sexual consent, should be the age for viewing pornography.

As I assume you're from the US, I hence disagree, and say it should be 18 ( or whatever the age is in your particular state ).

Never. Pornography is worthless trash and is degrading to society, women, and sexuality. Anyone who wants to whine about this fact better speak up.

 Though I (also) disagree with the debate put forward, I disagree with what you have said.

Pornography satisfies human instincts, and creates a lot of jobs. For example, the traffic on the internet has been estimated to be between 85-95% pornography - this is an influencing factor in the expansion of the internet and the R&D into technology.

Itself, I don't personally have a particularly strong view on porn. But it's effects on society, are on the whole positive.

And you can't pass off your own opinion as fact, try as you will.

No. They should watch them when they are 18. Films like these are made for adults and at age 16, teenagers are not adults. Therefore, they should view these type of films when they are officially an adult.

At age 18....why would we just start allowing teens to do whatever they want? Soon they'd not want school, want alcohol, and want to imprison parents. Will we comply with those wishes as well? When you are grown is when you should start deciding what you want to watch and where you want to be if we change the age on that should we change the age on smoking and make everything just take it when you think your ready
