Death Is Certain, Life Is Not.
What do you think about this statement? I know what I do, but I will wait for others to respond to surface mine. And leave my dam debate in Arts. It's what I make debating.

Of course Death is certain; its the absolute end of physical life. Life is never certain because the world we live in is highly unpredictable and changes every second. Life could end tomorrow, but death is eternal.

Life certainly made us alive to start with but death is a certainty once one is alive, it is the next step for all. Therefore unavoidable.

Yep, it's a true statement until we find a way to artificially prolong life.

Of course some might argue Jesus Christ (or others worshipped) have beaten death but I'm not going to stick my neck out for that one.

 Jesus didn't have the same body anymore, if you know what was written, he had his glorified body.....they could hardly recognize him.

Life is a long journey, the stops along the way and whatever you encounter are far from certain. No one knows how there life will turn out, you can do thinks to make your life better but it isn't predetermined. The only thing certain in life is death, as soon as we are born we pretty much are dying, how depressing is that. I think death is the only thing in life that is certain unless of course the clever people find a way of extending our lives indefinitely but unfortunately I doubt that.

Depends on how you look at this statement. From a philosophical point of view, I would say life is certain. It exists. It’s all I know subjectively. But death is not certain because there is no way we can convincingly prove and determine where our conscious mind goes or what happens to it after we expire.

 That is true, in the sense of where you're headed.
For that is what death is..unknown.
That is why we fear it and that is why we welcome it.
Life isn't always certain.
But in order for death to be, Life must exist.
This doesn't make life certain, only probable.
Once there is life, there must be death.
Once there is death, there doesn't have to be life.
