David Gilmour Is An Underrated Guitarist.
Just listen to songs like "Time" and "Comfortably Numb" and you will agree with me. He's an amazing player, and he really knows how to bend those strings. I'd have to say he's my biggest influence in guitar, though I try to take influence from all kinds of guitarists. Even Hendrix can't live up to Gilmour's awesomeness.

He's not underrated. The "Comfortably Numb" solo is usually 1, 2, or 3 in people's lists of greatest soloes.

 Yeah, but they forget about the rest of his work, like In The Flesh? (Boy that's fun to play), Time, High Hopes, Let There Be More Light, etc.

Underrated!? He was nominated number one guitarist of all time about a year ago, in my opinion he's overrated compared to the likes of Jimi Hendrix etc
