She is so perfect for the role and more colorful than the rest.

When was the last time you saw a 70 year old woman who was sexy? I didn't think it was possible.

By the by, the only James Bond movies I can stomach watching are Dr. No and both Casino Royales. The rest can take a long walk on a short pier.

I don't see why you say she is the best M. The best M is the one you like for role in a particular film. Having said that after watching The Shipping News she has certainly gone up in my estimation. Probably among the best British actresses ever.

 I liked Judy Dench from the get go because she is beautiful in an old lady sort of way and she is the boss of all she surveys without being a B*tch.
Not an easy task, even for an actress.
Judy Dench makes the M role in the Daniel Craig movies her own. She OWNS it.
And she is the only female who makes extremely short messy hair sexy.
She is definitely an original gal.
