Yeah they are cool. They were in some awesome old movies. That may be fictional, but that still works.

Cowboys are cool, but cowboys don't exist anymore. The only cowboys that still exist are fictional characters in movies.

I live in Texas, and I know for a fact that cowboys are not cool. Maybe the ones who pose for laughs outside Wal-Mart or something, but that's about it. True Cowboys are an extinct breed and the only kind left are the ones that make a mockery of the real frontiers-man. Cowboys today are not cool. Hate to bust your bubble huntcowboy. If it's any consolation, cowboys are pretty hot. :-)
