I totally agree, you could also add Firemen, Paramedics, and people in that line of work to that
list.
People who dedicate and risk their lives to save ours deserve something and a salary like some of
them are getting, in my eyes, isn't enough. |

The two most important jobs in our cities get paid the worst. Teachers are teaching our children,
they are preparing them for the future and cps are keeping them safe, yet they get paid a minute
amount. There is something terribly wrong with this picture. Celebrities make mollions and teachers
and cops make pennies. Yeah, that sounds right?!?! |

These people hold the world together, and I am shocked to hear some of their salaries. It sickens
me to hear about this. They put their lives on the line or have to break apart fights, but they
only get a limited amount of money, while CEO's sit in their office and doodle at their desks! |

I am half for this debate and half against it. I do agree that those teachers and policemen who do
their jobs exceptionally well and go way beyond what is required should make more money. However,
there are many people in these fields who do not belong there. Their performance is terrible and
they don’t do their jobs. These bad teachers and policemen are overpaid and they should be let go
for the sake of society. So, if they are doing a good job, are trustworthy, and reliable then they
should make more money. Good teachers are very underpaid for the junk they put up with America's
public schools. |
